About Us

Robin Young is our teacher. He has spent countless hours this Summer and last Semester helping us understand his research. We are greatly indebted to him.

Robert (Rob) Chase started life at UMass as a Computer Science major but quickly developed overriding interests in Math and Linguistics. He tutors Math and Physics for Learning Support Services, The College of Engineering and privately. He will become a Resident Assistant in the Fall of ’04. Rob designed the website for the Summer REU in ’04.

Patrick (Pat) Dragon started life at UMass as an Engineering major but quickly developed overriding interests in Math and Astronomy. He tutors Math and Physics for Learning Support Services. He has also worked for housing and done recording work for the Engineering Department. He hopes to become a professor.
