Rob Kusner's Math313/513 at Penn

While on sabbatical at Penn in the spring of 2011, Rob is teaching an introductory course (Math313/513, CS513) on computational linear algebra. Here's the Math313/513 syllabus recording various logistical details (time, date, place, text, grading, etc.) for the class.

Exams

There will be a midterm exam in class Thursday 3 March 2011. Here's a link to some Practice Problems. And here's a link to some Practice Final Exam Problems.

Homework

Here is the link to the ASCII file (so you can even read it at the last minute with your cell-phone if necessary ;-) of the Math313/513 (Computational Linear Algebra) homework schedule. Here are links to the Computer Problem Set 1, Set 2, Set 3, Set 4, Set 5.

Links to other Math313/513 resources

Here's Cleve Moler's MATLAB book. Please read the Preface and pay particular attention to Chapters 2, 5 and 10.

And since this is Greek to me, here's a link to symbols like ε.
