Week 9: Interaction Coefficients
To find out what happens when two shockwaves
meet, we must have a way of measuring this interaction. The Lie
Brackets are one part of this measurement. The interaction coefficient
is a function of three vectors. It is the dot product of a left
eigenvector with the Lie Bracket of two right Eigenvectors.
IC[i,j,k] = Li (Dot) LB[Rj,Rk]
The interaction coefficient appears in many
papers by our advisor and in the literature. We include it in our
analysis.
